Common use of Appointment as Subadviser Clause in Contracts

Appointment as Subadviser. The Adviser hereby retains the Subadviser to act as investment adviser for and to manage certain assets of the Funds subject to the supervision of the Adviser and the respective Boards of Directors of SBL Fund and Security Equity Fund and subject to the terms of this Agreement; and the Subadviser hereby accepts such employment. In such capacity, the Subadviser shall be responsible for each Fund's Investments.
