APPOINTMENT OF ADDITIONAL GOVERNORS. 60. The Secretary of State may give a warning notice to the Governors (which he shall copy to the Foundation Trust) where he is satisfied— that the standards of performance of pupils at the Academy are unacceptably low, or that there has been a serious breakdown in the way the Academy is managed or governed, or that the safety of pupils or staff of the Academy is threatened (whether by a breakdown of discipline or otherwise).
