Common use of Appointment of AEMO as Agent Clause in Contracts

Appointment of AEMO as Agent. (a) To the extent that this document prescribes certain things to be done by the Shipper in relation to Nominations, notices, consents and other communications under this clause 4, the Shipper may by agreement with AEMO appoint AEMO to do any of those things, but nothing in any such agreement relieves the Shipper of its obligations to the Service Provider under this document.

Appointment of AEMO as Agent. (a) To the extent that this document prescribes certain things to be done by the Shipper in relation to Nominations, notices, consents and other communications under this clause 44.7 and, to the extent it relates to a VTS Service, clause 4.8, the Shipper may by agreement with AEMO appoint AEMO to do any of those things, but nothing in any such agreement relieves the Shipper of its obligations to the Service Provider under this document.
