Common use of Appointment of Auditor Clause in Contracts

Appointment of Auditor. Subject to Section 88 of the Act, at the annual general meeting or at a subsequent special general meeting in each year, an independent representative of the Members shall be appointed by them as Auditor of the accounts of the Company. Such Auditor may be a Member but no Director, Officer or employee of the Company shall, during his or her continuance in office, be eligible to act as an Auditor of the Company.

Appointment of Auditor. Subject to Section 88 of the Act, at the annual general meeting or at a subsequent special general meeting in each year, a Person having experience in reviewing and/or auditing financial statements of entities shall be appointed by the Members as an independent representative of the Members shall be appointed by them as Auditor of the accounts of the Company, provided that such appointment shall have been approved in accordance with the provisions of these Bye-laws. Such Auditor may not be a Member but Member, and no Director, Officer or employee of the Company shall, during his or her continuance in office, be eligible to act as an Auditor of the Company.
