Common use of Appointment of Calculation Agent Clause in Contracts

Appointment of Calculation Agent. Upon the terms and subject to the conditions contained herein, the Company hereby appoints the Calculation Agent as its Calculation Agent and the Calculation Agent hereby accepts such appointment as the Company’s agent for the purpose of calculating the interest rates on the Notes in the manner and at the times provided in the Notes and the Indenture.
