Common use of Appointment of Chairperson Clause in Contracts

Appointment of Chairperson. (1) The Commonwealth shall have the right, by notice in writing to the Company, to appoint the Chairperson from the date of incorporation of the Company to the end of the Establishment Period, such appointment or appointments expiring at the end of the Establishment Period. (2) Thereafter the Directors may elect one of their number to be Chairperson and may determine the period, not exceeding three (3) years, for which he or she is to hold office.
