Common use of APPOINTMENT OF GOVERNORS Clause in Contracts

APPOINTMENT OF GOVERNORS. 50. The Members may appoint up to 2 Governors (the “Appointed Governors”), subject to Article 50A. One of the Appointed Governors shall, at the time of his appointment, fulfil the criteria set out under Articles 53 to 58 for election or appointment as a Parent Governor. 50A. The total number of Governors who are employees of the Academy Trust (including the Principal) must not exceed one third of the total number of Governors.

One Members shall ensure that representatives of the Appointed Governors shall, at the time of his appointment, fulfil the criteria set out under Articles 53 to 58 for election or appointment as Lead Employer and University Sponsors form a Parent Governor. 50A. The total number of Governors who are employees of the Academy Trust (including the Principal) must not exceed one third majority of the total number of Governors.. These 13 Governors will comprise:

The Members may appoint Staff Governors through such process as they may determine, including by a suitable election process, provided that the total number of Governors (including the Head teacher) who are employees of the Academy Trust (including the Principal) must does not exceed one third of the total number of Governors.
