Common use of Appointment of Servicer; Acceptance of Appointment Clause in Contracts

Appointment of Servicer; Acceptance of Appointment. The Issuer hereby appoints the Servicer, and the Servicer, as an independent contractor, hereby accepts such appointment, to perform the Servicer’s obligations pursuant to this Servicing Agreement on behalf of and for the benefit of the Issuer or any assignee thereof in accordance with the terms of this Servicing Agreement and applicable law as it applies to the Servicer in its capacity as servicer hereunder. This appointment and the Servicer’s acceptance thereof may not be revoked except in accordance with the express terms of this Servicing Agreement. The Servicer shall at all times take all steps necessary and appropriate to maintain its own separateness from the Issuer.
