Appointment to Special. Academic Ranks under 13.10.1 shall be made only for the purposes and under the conditions stated above. When the University makes appointments to these ranks, the Vice-President: Academic shall inform the Association of the appointment and the category (a) or (b) under which the appointment falls and provide a copy of the letter of appointment.
