Appointment to the TAC. Each agency, organization or unit of government shall designate and the SCTPO Governing Board may appoint the individual and alternate to represent such agency, organization or unit of government on the Technical Advisory Committee. If the agency, organization, or unit of government does not designate a representative or an alternate representative within sixty (60) days after notice from the SCTPO Governing Board of a vacancy, the SCTPO Governing Board may, but shall not be obligated to, appoint said representative or alternate representative without designation by the agency, organization, or unit of government. The SCTPO Governing Board may remove any individual from the Technical Advisory Committee, if such individual is absent from three (3) Technical Advisory Committee meetings in any one (1) calendar year.
