The 'Appointment - Wages' clause defines the terms under which an employee's salary or wages are set and paid as part of their employment agreement. Appointment - Wages. The Employer may consider an employee’s previous years of work experience in their classification when determining the appropriate starting pay grade for new or returning entrants into the bargaining unit but will, in any case, apply a minimum credit of one half of the employee’s previous years of work experience. However, current AMR employees who transfer into the bargaining unit from another AMR location shall receive full credit for all previous years of experience in their classification with AMR and shall be placed at the pay grade corresponding to their years of service.
