APPOINTMENT WITH REDUCED LOAD. Application and Conditions for Reduced Load: An Appointment with Xxxxxxx Xxxx is an appointment in which a Member et request, and subject to the University's approval, carries a reduced workload for a specified period of time A Reduced Load shall normally constitutethe same proportionalreductionin each of the components of the Member'sworkload as specified in Article or as appropriate, except where the Member and the Universityagree to a variation. It may constitute a reduction throughout the academic year or a release from workload for a portionof the academic year or any combination thereof.   • Appointment Status An Employee shall be appointed on a permanent basis, or on a casual basis in accordance with Article 37.
