Common use of Appointments to Jobs Clause in Contracts

Appointments to Jobs. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, employees may apply for regular positions during their probationary/assessment period, as described in Article 5.02, but will receive consideration as an outside applicant. Temporary employees who are successful in attaining a regular position may be held in their temporary positions until the conclusion of their temporary assignment, at the Corporation's option.
