Approval of reports and documents. 16.9.1. The approval by PRASA of the reports and documents prepared and submitted by the Consultant shall certify the fact that they are consistent with the contract terms and conditions. 16.9.2. PRASA, within 45 day from the receipt thereof, shall notify the Consultant about its decisions referring to the documents or reports received from the latter, giving the reasons for the rejection of documents or reports or requesting the amendment thereof. In the case of the final report, the term is extended up to 60 days. In case PRASA fails to submit by deadline any comments with reference to the received documents or reports, the Consultant may request in writing their acceptance. 16.9.3. Whenever a report or document is approved by PRASA, provided that the Consultant inserts certain amendments, PRASA shall recommend a period for the preparation of the requested amendments. 16.9.4. Whenever the final report on a lump sum contract is not approved, the dispute settlement procedure is triggered. 16.9.5. Whenever the contract is performed in phases, the performance of each phase is conditioned by the approval of the previous phase by PRASA, except for the phases performed at the same time.
