Approved Professional Development Activities. 1. All district or building sponsored professional development will meet the 30 hour annual requirement.
2. Non-district sponsored professional development may meet the district and state (appendix A) requirements but require prior approval from the building administrator or the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction.
3. Graduate coursework may not be used to fulfill the 30 hour annual requirement
Approved Professional Development Activities. Activities submitted for PIUs must relate to the employee’s Professional Development Plan, verify the employee’s professional growth and be pre-approved by the appropriated administrator or division chair.
