ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days of the ratification of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference with the regular duties of their employment.

Notwithstanding the above, the Union may designate any one xxxxxxx in the bargaining unit as the "Chief Xxxxxxx" for that store and this xxxxxxx may represent any bargaining unit member in the Company shall recognize Shop Stewards and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Company shall be kept informed of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx and Shop Stewards and the work area the Union has so designated himstore. A non-probationary employee who is being notified of his shiftdischarge, after which he suspension or written warning will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. It is understood that inability to comply with the foregoing procedure as a result of exceptional circumstances, shall not render the discipline a nullity, but the parties may review the circumstances of the ratification of this Agreement. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Hospital acknowledges the right of the Union shall name a Shop Committee of not more than to appoint or otherwise select five (5) membersstewards, at least one including a Chief Xxxxxxx. The Hospital will not recognize any representatives until the Union has officially advised the Hospital in writing as to the appointment of the representatives. The Hospital will recognize a Grievance Committee composed of three (3) employees consisting of the Chief Xxxxxxx and two (2) other employees, provided that no more than two (2) members from the same group or department will be present at any Grievance Committee meeting with the Hospital. The Labour Management Committee referred to in Article of the Central Agreement will be comprised of three (3) Union and three (3) Management representatives. A maximum of two (2) employees per group or department will be given leave to attend a Labour Management Committee meeting. The Union and the Employer will recognize a Local Bargaining Committee as referred to in of the Central Agreement comprised of five (5) Union and five (5)Management representatives. A maximum of two (2) employees per group or department will be given leave to attend a Local Bargaining Committee meeting. Requests for leave of absence without pay to perform Union duties shall be from submitted in by completing a Union Leave Request form. Such form shall be submitted to the Director, Human Resources (or designate) with a copy to the employee's department head or designate at least twenty-one (21) working days before the leave is to be taken. Permission for such will be granted to a reasonable number of employees subject to the provisions outlined below: Authorization for such leaves shall be with due regard for the operation of the Hospital and provided that the scheduling changes made necessary by such leaves shall not impose any penalty on the Hospital. When requests for such leaves cannot be made twenty-one (21) working days prior to the commencement of each leave requested, approval shall be at the discretion of the Hospital based on the individual merits of the requests. Employees requesting such leaves may be required to assist in arranging for replacements needed to cover scheduled shifts. The working schedule of these employees shall not be modified in any way because of the said leave of absence unless the parties shall agree. With the exception of the President and Vice-president who shall each have up to twenty (20) days, all other employees shall be employees eligible for cumulative leave of the Company covered up to thirty (30) days each calendar year. Only one employee per classification within a department shall be authorized to take time off for Union activities as authorized by this Agreement. Union representatives, will provide as much advance notice as possible of a request to enter the premises of the Employer with such notice being given to the Executive Director or her designate. The Union may designate and the Company shall recognize Shop Stewards and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards Union shall notify the Employer in writing of the names of the members of the Negotiating Committee at the time of their appointment and Shop Stewards the Employer shall perform not be required to recognize any Committee member until it has been so notified. The two (2) members of the functions herein provided in such manner as Negotiating Committee shall be paid their regular rate for all regularly scheduled working hours lost due to promote good order and shop discipline and attending negotiation meetings with the least possible interference Employer, up to and including Conciliation; with the regular duties Union reimbursing the Employer for of their employmentall costs as related thereto. An employee on site who is subject to disciplinary action which is to be recorded in the employee’s personnel file shall have the right to the presence of a Union Xxxxxxx. The Union Stewards undertake to be reasonably available in person or by telephone for such meeting. In extraordinary circumstances, when a Union Xxxxxxx is entirely unavailable, the employee shall have the right to the presence of a Union committee member or a member representative of the employee’s choice who is working on the current shift. All grievance and labour management committee meetings will be held during working hours unless agreed to by the parties. Labour management meetings consisting of up to four (4) union stewards, one of whom shall be the chief union xxxxxxx, and four (4) management representatives, shall, upon the request of either party, be convened not more than once every two (2) months, for the purpose of discussing matters of mutual concern. Said meetings will be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time and will not be used as a substitute for the grievance procedure contained in this Agreement.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name a Shop Committee of Employer acknowledges the Union's right to select or otherwise appoint not more than five three (53) membersemployees, with no more than one from any department, as stewards. The Union shall name a Shop Committee trade union may designate up to four employees from this bargaining unit to act as its bargaining committee, provided they have all completed one year of not more than five (5) membersservice in Central the Mail and Printing Centre. All employees so recognized must have completed their probationary period within the bargaining unit. The trade union shall notify the employer in writing from time to time of the names of the stewards and committee persons, the effective dates of their appointments and the Company shall recognize Shop Stewards names of any of the former committee persons whom they are replacing, and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Company shall be kept informed of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx the chairperson of the bargaining committee. The employer will not be required to recognize any employee as a xxxxxxx or as a committee person or chairperson without notice in writing from the trade union. The trade union stewards and Shop committee persons shall be allowed any necessary time to discuss and present grievances and complaints and shall be paid for such time. Prior to a xxxxxxx or committee person taking time off work to discuss grievances or complaints, the xxxxxxx or person shall, if possible, state the general nature of the potential grievance or complaint to supervision. It is understood that, because of emergency business circumstances, such time may not always be granted immediately. A xxxxxxx representing a on a shift other than the xxxxxxx'x scheduled work shift may do so, but will not be paid for such time. The bargaining committee shall be allowed to attend at arbitration hearings, but will not be paid by the employer. All meetings with the employer shall be scheduled during normal working hours and the committee may meet by themselves prior to any scheduled meeting paid for by the employer. The trade union shall have the right to designate an alternate in the absence of a xxxxxxx for a particular area. Stewards and the work area the Union has so designated him. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement of a complaint or grievance; he committee persons shall not leave his work station except as provided by be transferred from their sections during the said Article and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties for the first four hours of his shift, after which he will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days of the ratification term of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference with the regular duties of their employmentcollective agreement unless mutually agreed to.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name a Shop Committee of not more than five (5) members, at least one (1) of which shall be from the who shall be employees Business Representative of the Company covered by this Agreement. The Employer agrees to recognize one xxxxxxx for up to twenty (20) employees or major fraction thereafter, (on tunnel projects one xxxxxxx per shift per shaft will be recognized), but shall not be obliged to recognize such stewards until the job superintendent, or the xxxxxxx on the job if there is no job superintendent, has been informed by the Business Representative of the appointment; such appointment shall be discussed and adjusted confirmed by the Company Union in writing to the Employer within seven (7) working days thereafter. The xxxxxxx will not be excluded from overtime work on his crew, provided he is able to do the work required, and the Shop Committee who shall meet as often as may be deemed necessary or at least once each month during working hours with a prepared agenda of matters to be discussed and adjusted. Only Shop Committee members, a Business Representative, and/or an International Officer one of the Union shall be present at meetings with last two men retained by the CompanyEmployer if competent to perform the available work remaining. The Union may designate and Employer will recognize one (I) Teamster xxxxxxx in addition to the Company shall recognize Shop Stewards and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and properforegoing where more than four (4) Teamsters are employed. The Company shall be kept informed of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx and Shop Stewards and the work area On tunnel projects, the Union has so designated himthe right to refer to the Employer a Union Xxxxxxx on each tunnel project at the commencement of the project or the shift subject to a Letter of Understanding shown as Appendix "A" attached. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx It is agreed that such employee shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement of a complaint or grievance; he shall not leave his work station except as provided by the said Article and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties for either the first four hours of his shift, after which he will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform or second person in the Labourers' bargaining unit on the project. Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must not leave acknowledges Union Xxxxxxx has the Company premises without permission from same responsibilities as other employees on the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days of the ratification of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference with the regular duties of their employmentproject.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name a Shop Committee Company acknowledges the right of the Unionto appoint or otherwise select not more than five four stewards and four alternates from amongst employees in the bargaining unit who have completed nine (59) membersmonths continuous employment, at least one (1) for the purpose of which shall be from assisting employees in the who shall be employees presentationof grievances in accordance with the provisions of the Company covered by this Agreement. The Union may designate anyone xxxxxxx in the bargaining unit as the "Chief Xxxxxxx" for that store and this xxxxxxx may represent any bargaining unit member in the Company shall recognize Shop Stewards and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Company shall be kept informed of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx and Shop Stewards and the work area the Union has so designated himstore. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx shall be permitted xxxxxxx'x and Union officers' first obligation is to the necessary time during working hours without loss performance of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement of a complaint or grievance; his regular duties and he shall not leave his work station except as provided by regularduties without first obtaining permission of the said Article immediate supervisor or his designate and only after having informed shall advise the supervisor of the nature of his Supervisor as business and approximate duration and report back to such supervisor at the time of his return to work. At no time shall a xxxxxxx interrupt while such employees are engaged with a customer. If in the course of such time away from his regular duties the xxxxxxx visits another department, he shall, upon entering that department advise the supervisor of that department, or his designate, of the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson Company shall not be available required to perform his regular duties for recognize stewards until such time as it has been notified in writing of their appointment by the first four hours Union. A non-probationaryemployee who is being notified of his shiftdischarge, after which he suspension or written warning will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with informedthat he has a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees right to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days presence of a xxxxxxx, or if a xxxxxxx is not present at such time, the employee will have the option of requesting the presence of another bargaining unit member in the store chosen by the employee concerned. It is understood that inability to comply with the foregoing procedure as a result of exceptional circumstances, shall not render the discipline a nullity, but the parties may review the circumstances of the ratification of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference with the regular duties of their employmentbreach.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name a Shop Committee of not more than five (5) membersPresident and Secretary, at least one (1) of which after giving advance notice, shall be from the who shall be employees of the Company covered by this Agreement. Matters pertaining to the interpretation, application, or administration of this Agreement shall be discussed and adjusted by the Company and the Shop Committee who shall meet as often granted paid leave as may be deemed necessary or at least once each month during working hours with a prepared agenda for the proper performance of matters their duties related to be discussed and adjusted. Employees shall not lose any regular earnings for time spent at any such meeting with The Employer. When a labour management dispute arises which requires the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement immediate involvement of a complaint or grievance; District Vice President, he shall not request permission to leave his work station except as provided by the said Article and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties to deal with the dispute with Management, such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. When permission is granted, the employee involved shall not lose any earnings for the first four hours time spent in dealing with the dispute. The Employer agrees to maintain a Labour-Management committee. This committee shall meet monthly at such time and place as shall from time to time, be determined by the members thereof. Items agreed to at these meetings shall be posted in the stations. The Employer shall make available to the Union Executive, within fourteen (14) days of request by the Union, information required by the Union on jobs in the bargaining unit. No employee shall be required or permitted to make a written or verbal agreement with the employer or his shiftrepresentative which may conflict with the terms of this collective agreement. No member of the Bargaining Unit shall meet with Management on any disciplinary matter without the Union being advised and the member being given an opportunity to have a Union representative present. In the event of a disciplinary action the employee shall be provided a copy of the disciplinary record placed on his file. An investigation to gather information shall not be considered disciplinary. The Employer agrees to grant an unpaid leave of absence for up to two years without the loss of seniority or service to any member of the bargaining unit holding a Local or International office so long as he remains in office and serves in that capacity. It is also agreed that any pension or employee benefits may be continued as long as the applicable plans permit. However, after which he will such employees on leave must bear the total cost of such benefits. The employee upon returning to work may be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business training for Consolidated employees. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days period of the ratification of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference with the regular duties of their employmentupgrading.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. Representatives of the Union may make arrangements with the job supervisor or his designated representative to meet Xxxxxxxx and other employees, provided it does not interfere with the work. The Union agrees to give such assistance as is required of it by the Employer, to secure competent and qualified men for the job. The Employers agree to recognize such reasonable number of Stewards as may time to time be appointed by the Union, but shall name a Shop Committee not be obliged to recognize such Stewards until they have been informed in writing of not more than five (5) members, at least one (1) the names of which all the Stewards as they are appointed. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement of a complaint or grievance; he shall not leave his work station except as provided by the said Article and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties for the first four hours of his shift, after which he will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform carrying out his duties. The Company agrees to have Union and the office space furnished Association recognize the mutual value of improving by all proper and ready for use within days reasonable means, the productivity of the ratification individual xxxxxxx and both will undertake, individually and jointly, to promote such increased productivity. During the lifetime of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with the least possible interference Union agrees there will be no strike, slowdown or picketing or any other act which will interfere with the regular duties schedule of their employmentwork and member Employers agree that there will be no lockout. The Employer shall have the right to discharge or otherwise discipline employees who take part in or instigate any strike, picketing or slowdown or any other act which interferes with the regular schedule of work. The Union agrees it will not involve the Association or its member Employers in any dispute which may arise between the Union and any other Employer and the employees of such other Employer. The Union further agrees it will not condone a work stoppage or observe any picket line placed on a job site for jurisdictional purposes. The Employers each agree to sub-contract asphalt or concrete paving, curb gutter work, sewer and watermain work, landscape work, utility and heavy work, only to sub-contractors whose employees are covered by the monetary terms and conditions of a Collective Agreement with the Union. (note: Changes to this provision, if any, shall be made with the Memorandum of Agreement attached as Appendix The Employers agree to give preference to sub-contractors under Collective Agreement to Local performing milling and type work provided such sub-contractors are available, capable and bid competitively on said work. If an Employer covered by this Agreement engages in work other than road and parking lot repair including stone paving of all types, paving etc. and work incidental thereto, and such other work comes within the purview of the existing collective agreement between the Union and the Greater Toronto Sewer and Watermain Contractors’ Association, the rates of pay and conditions of that agreement shall apply. Similarly, if an Employer covered by this Agreement engages in work generally recognized as heavy (over-passes, bridges, etc.) the rates and conditions prevailing in the Collective Agreements between the Union and the Operating Engineer’s Employer Bargaining Agency shall apply. Toronto And Area Road Builders Association shall provide to the Union by January of each year an up to date copy of its contractor membership lists.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties for the first four hours of his shift, after which he will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days pay Members of the ratification Shop Committee their normal rate of pay, including shift premiums and overtime where applicable, for attending all meetings with Management up to but not including arbitration hearings in the case of and mediation in the case of negotiations. Where advance notice is known, Shop Stewards leave of absence should be requested in as far in advance as possible. The Company agrees that such permission will not be withheld unreasonably and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided in Union agrees that such manner as privileges will not be abused. The union agrees to promote good order and shop discipline and the company with the least possible interference names of the employees constituting the Shop Committee and Chairperson and to keep the list up-to-date at all times. The Person representing the affected employee will be advised prior to any formal work review, and a Committee Person may attend, at the employee's option. It is understood that a Committee Person's responsibility includes communicating with other members of the bargaining unit as well as with the regular duties employer, Management, etc., and a reasonable amount of their employmenttime will be allowed during normal working hours for such communications.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Union shall name have a Shop Committee shop committee of not more than five (5) members, at least one (1) of which shall be from the two members who shall be employees of the Company Corporation covered by this Agreement. Matters pertaining to the interpretation, application, application or administration of this Agreement shall may be discussed and adjusted by the Company Corporation and the Shop Committee who shall on request by either party meet as often as may be deemed necessary or at least once each a month during working hours with a prepared agenda of matters to be discussed and adjusted. The Corporation and the Shop Committee may upon request and by mutual consent meet more often than once a month for these purposes. The party requesting the meeting shall give reasonable notice thereof and the meeting will be scheduled by the Corporation so as to not unduly disrupt its business operations. The time spent by Shop Committee members in such meetings shall not be considered time worked but shall be paid for by the Corporation at their regular straight time hourly rate. Only Shop Committee members, a Business Representative, Representative and/or an International Officer of the Union shall be present at such meetings with the CompanyCorporation. The Union may designate and the Company Corporation shall recognize Shop Stewards a Chief Xxxxxxx and a not more than 2 Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Company Corporation shall be kept informed of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx and Shop Stewards and the work area Chief Xxxxxxx. Subject to the Union has so designated him. A provisions of Article a Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Chief Xxxxxxx shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement of a complaint or grievance; he . The Union acknowledges that the Chief Shop Xxxxxxx and the Shop Stewards have their regular work to perform as employees of the Corporation and it is therefore agreed that they shall not leave his work station except as to investigate or process a grievance or undertake any other Union business on the Corporation’s premises during working hours without the prior consent of the Manager of the department concerned, provided by that such consent shall not be unreasonably withheld. Accordingly, the said Article Corporation will pay Stewards at their regular straight time hourly rate of pay for regularly scheduled time spent in investigating and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his businessprocessing grievances. The Shop Chairperson Union shall be available to perform his regular duties for appoint or elect and the first four hours Corporation shall the formation of his shifta negotiating committee, after which he consisting of two employees who will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days members of the ratification of this Agreementbargaining unit. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Employer and the Union agree that there will be seven (7) stewards (one each from kitchen, laundry, housekeeping and care staff, also one from the afternoon shift, one from the night shift) and one Chief Xxxxxxx selected who may assist the employees in presenting their grievances to the representatives of the Employer. The Union agrees to keep the Employer advised as to their names and any changes thereto, such notification to be given by the Union no later than ten working days from the time of the appointment. The stewards and the Chief Xxxxxxx shall name a Shop constitute the Union Grievance Committee of and each Xxxxxxx shall have been ,continuously employed in his department for at least three months; not more than five (5) members, at least one (1) of which shall be from xxxxxxx and the who shall be employees Chief Xxxxxxx are to meet with the representatives of the Company covered by this Agreement. Matters pertaining to the interpretation, application, or administration of this Agreement shall be discussed and adjusted by the Company and the Shop Committee who shall meet Employer at any one time (except as often as may be deemed necessary or at least once each month during working hours with a prepared agenda of matters to be discussed and adjusted. Only Shop Committee members, a Business Representative, and/or an International Officer provided for in Article of the Union Grievance Procedure). Employees shall not be present at meetings with eligible to serve as Xxxxxxx or members of the CompanyNegotiating Committee until after they have been placed on the seniority list. The Union may designate acknowledges that Stewards, Members of the Negotiating Committee and Union Officers have regular duties to perform on behalf of the Company shall recognize Shop Employer and that such persons will not leave their regular duties without obtaining the permission of their immediate supervisor, such permission will not be unreasonably withheld and when resuming their regular duties will report to their immediate supervisor so that the length of time they are absent from their regular duties will be under reasonable control. The Employer will advise Employees of their entitlement to union representation at any formal counselling or disciplinary meeting. It is recognized that counselling sessions are not disciplinary in nature. Providing Stewards and a Shop Stewards for such work areas as shall be agreed by Union Officers comply with the parties hereto to be reasonable and proper. The Company shall be kept informed reporting requirements of the name of each Shop Xxxxxxx and Shop Stewards and preceding paragraph, the work area the Union has so designated him. A Shop Xxxxxxx or Shop Xxxxxxx shall be permitted the necessary time during working hours without loss Employer will compensate such employees at their regular rate of pay to perform the functions provided by Article hereof for the settlement time spent in handling grievances of a complaint or grievance; he shall not leave his work station except as provided by the said Article and only after having informed his Supervisor as to the nature of his business. The Shop Chairperson shall be available to perform his regular duties for the first four hours of his shift, after which he will be assigned his lunch and be free to perform Union Business for Consolidated employees. He must This undertaking does not leave the Company premises without permission from the General Manager or his designate. The Company will supply adequate office space with a telephone, desk and chairs for the Shop Chairperson apply to perform his duties. The Company agrees to have the office space furnished and ready for use within days of the ratification of this Agreement. The Shop Committee, Shop Stewards and Shop Stewards shall perform the functions herein provided time spent in such manner as to promote good order and shop discipline and with matters outside of regular working hours. In the least possible interference with event that a Xxxxxxx must be called into the Home, the Home will pay time worked, plus one-half hour, at the regular duties rate of their employmentpay, for scheduled meetings such as Grievance, Staff Planning.

ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Business Manager and/or Business Representative of the Local Union and/or Council shall have access to all jobs of each Employer during working hours, but in no case shall his visits unduly interfere with the progress of work. When visiting a job, he will first report to the Employer Superintendent or other supervisory personnel of the Employer in charge of the job. In circumstances where the Employer does not have the authority to allow access, the Employer agrees to make a joint application with the Union to the owner to gain such access. Each Employer agrees to recognize the right of the Union to select or otherwise appoint up to a maximum of two (2) stewards per company to assist employees in presenting any complaints or grievances they may have to representative of management. ARTICLE UNION REPRESENTATION. The Employer acknowledges the right of the Union to appoint or otherwise select Shop Stewards for the purpose of representing Employees in the handling of grievances arising under this Agreement. The Employer agrees to recognize three (3) Shop Stewards for each of the day, afternoon, and night shifts. The Employer shall name be in writing by the Union of the names of the Union Executive, Shop Stewards, Safety Committee Members and Grievance Committee Members of the fifteenth (15th) of January and June annually. The Employer agrees to recognize and deal with a Shop Committee Union grievance of not more than five two (52) members, Employees plus the Unit Chairperson. Shop Stewards and members of the grievance committee shall be Employees who have acquired at least one (1) six months seniority with the Employer and shall be Employees who are actively employed by the Employer during the term of their office. Shop Stewards and members of the grievance committee may leave their work without loss of pay to attend Union business subject to the conditions below. Such business must be between the Union and the Employer. Employees having grievances cannot discuss these with the Shop Xxxxxxx during working hours, except in the case of discharged Employees or suspended Employees. The time shall be devoted to the prompt handling of Union Business. The time away from productive work shall be reported in accordance with the timekeeping methods of the Employer.
