Common use of Assignment and Security Interests Clause in Contracts

Assignment and Security Interests. Neither this Contract, nor any part of it, nor a security interest in any vehicle, shall be assigned or subcontracted by Contractor without the prior written consent of the District. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Contractor may assign this Contract if the assignment is made to a parent, subsidiary, related or affiliated company.
