Common use of Assignment by the Borrower Clause in Contracts

Assignment by the Borrower. The rights of the Borrower and each other Obligor under the provisions hereof may not be transferred or assigned (except by operation of law as may be permitted pursuant to Section 14.10), and no Obligor may transfer or assign any of its obligations, any such assignment being null and void and of no effect against the Agent and the Lenders and rendering any balance outstanding of the Loan Obligations immediately due and payable at the option of the Lenders and further releasing the Lenders from any obligation to make any further Advances under the provisions hereof.
