Common use of Assignment by You Clause in Contracts

Assignment by You. You may not assign this Agreement without the Company’s consent; provided, however, that you will be entitled, to the extent permitted under applicable law, to select and change a beneficiary or beneficiaries to receive any compensation or benefit under this Agreement following your death by giving the Company written notice thereto. Also, except as required by law, your right to receive payments or benefits under this Agreement may not be subject to execution, attachment, levy or similar process. Any attempt to effect any of the preceding in violation of this Section 13(b), whether voluntary or involuntary, will be void.
