Common use of Assignment of Award Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Award. Except as otherwise permitted by the Committee, the Optionee's rights under the Plan and this Award Agreement are personal; no assignment or transfer of the Optionee's rights under and interest in this Award may be made by the Optionee other than as permitted in Section 10.8 of the Plan. The Award will be exercisable during Optionee's lifetime only by Optionee or by Optionee's guardian or legal representative. No right or benefit hereunder shall in any manner be liable for or subject to any debts, contracts, liabilities, or torts of Optionee.
