Common use of Assignment of Lease Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Lease. Tenant understands that Landlord’s interest in the Lease has been assigned to Lender in connection with the Loan and that, during the continuation of the Loan, no amendment or modification (except such as do not prejudice the interests of Lender in any material respect) of the Lease shall be binding against Lender unless approved in writing by Lender, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld, conditioned or delayed. Except as provided herein, however, Lender shall assume no duty, liability or obligation to Tenant under the Lease.
