Common use of Assignment of Rents, Leases Clause in Contracts

Assignment of Rents, Leases. (A) Tenant agrees that Landlord may assign the rents and its interest in this Lease to the holder of any Mortgage. (B) Tenant further agrees that, in the event of such an assignment, Tenant shall give the holder of such Mortgage a copy of any request for performance by Landlord or any notice of default by Landlord, and, in the event Landlord fails to cure any such default, Tenant shall give such holder a reasonable period, commencing on the last day on which Landlord could cure such default, in which to cure same.
