Common use of Assignment to Standby Clause in Contracts

Assignment to Standby. Standby assignments will be made by the Department Director or his/her designee(s) who shall establish a schedule for a specified period of time. The Director may change and/or modify the standby schedule as deemed necessary to ensure that the City's goals and objectives are achieved. All changes and/or modifications are subject to the providing affected employees with a minimum of two weeks written notice.
