Common use of Assignment to Successor Registry Operator Clause in Contracts

Assignment to Successor Registry Operator. In the event the Registry Operator's Registry Agreement is terminated or expires without entry by Registry Operator and ICANN of a subsequent registry agreement, Registry Operator's rights under this Agreement may be assigned to a company with a subsequent registry agreement covering the Registry TLD upon ICANN's giving Registrar written notice within sixty days of the termination or expiration, provided that the subsequent registry operator assumes the duties of Registry Operator under this Agreement.
