Common use of Assignments by the Borrower Clause in Contracts

Assignments by the Borrower. The rights of the Borrower hereunder are declared to be purely personal and may therefore not be assigned or transferred, nor can the Borrower assign or transfer any of its obligations, any such assignment being null and void insofar as the Lender is concerned and rendering any balance then outstanding of the Principal at Maturity immediately due and payable at the option of the Lender.
