Common use of Assisted Transfers Clause in Contracts

Assisted Transfers. Teachers who meet the criteria (below) will be reviewed by the Superintendent or designee, and the Association President. The teacher may request, in writing by March 1 an assisted transfer. The criteria for teacher assisted transfer eligibility (must fulfill all criteria): • Fifteen years in TSD • Twelve years in the same position or building • Last five years final rating of evaluations have all been acceptable (prior to the 2012-13 school year) and effective or highly effective (beginning with the 2012-13 school year) • Must have applied for and interviewed to transfer to a position for which they meet CDE Highly Qualified Standards at least three times during the preceding five-year period.
