Common use of Assisted Transfers Clause in Contracts

Assisted Transfers. 20-6-1. Teachers who meet the criteria (below) will be reviewed by the Superintendent or designee, and the Association President. The teacher may request, in writing by March 1 an assisted transfer. The criteria for teacher assisted transfer eligibility (must fulfill all criteria): • Fifteen years in TSD • Twelve years in the same position or building • Last five years final rating of evaluations have all been acceptable (prior to the 2012-13 school year) and effective or highly effective (beginning with the 2012-13 school year) • Must have applied for and interviewed to transfer to a position for which they meet CDE Highly Qualified Standards at least three times during the preceding five-year period.
