Attachment and Cable Clearances. Licensee's Attachments on Electric Utility Poles, including metal attachment clamps and bolts, metal cross-arm supports, bolts and other equipment, must be attached so as to maintain the minimum 40” separation specified in the National Electrical Safety Code ("NESC") Table 235-5(1a) and in drawings and specifications Electric Utility may from time to time furnish Licensee.

Attachment and Cable Clearances i. Wellsboro Electric Company’s Electric Utility Supply Space shall be the space on the pole measured from Wellsboro Electric Company’s lowest potential utility attachment, as identified by Wellsboro Electric Company for each pole, and continuing to the top of the pole. The Attacher Worker Safety Zone shall be the area measuring a minimum of forty (40) inches located immediately below the Pole Owner Supply Space. The assigned Attachment Space for Attachments shall be an area measuring twelve (12) inches located below the Attacher Worker Safety Zone. ii. Attachments on Poles, including metal attachment clamps and bolts, and other equipment must be attached so as to maintain the minimum separations specified in the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) and in drawings and specifications that Wellsboro Electric Company may from time to time furnish to Attacher. Attacher’s facilities shall be located a minimum of forty (40) inches below Wellsboro Electric Company’s electric facilities. iii. All Attachments of Attacher shall have at least two inches clearance from unbonded hardware. iv. All Attachments must be a minimum of twelve (12) inches from any existing Attacher’s facilities.
