Common use of Audit by the Global Fund Clause in Contracts

Audit by the Global Fund. The Global Fund reserves the right, on its own or through an agent (utilizing Grant funds or other resources available for this purpose) to perform the audits required under this Agreement and/or, to conduct a financial review, forensic audit or evaluation, or to take any other actions that it deems necessary to ensure the accountability of the Principal Recipient and Sub-recipients for Grant funds and to monitor compliance by the Principal Recipient with the terms of this Agreement. The Principal Recipient shall, and shall ensure that its Sub-recipients, cooperate with the Global Fund and its agents in the conduct of such review, audit, evaluation or other action.
