Audits and Recovery of Overpayments. A. Pursuant to Welf. & Inst. Code § 14707, in the case of federal audit exceptions, the Department will follow federal audit appeal processes unless the Department, in consultation with the California Mental Health Director’s Association, determines that those appeals are not cost beneficial.
