Common use of Authenticity of Signatures Clause in Contracts

Authenticity of Signatures. Canada will cause the applicable Registrar to furnish the Distributor from time to time with the specimen signatures of each of such Registrar’s officers, employees or agents who have been authorized by such Registrar to authenticate Notes, but the Distributor will not have any obligation or liability to Canada or the applicable Registrar in respect of the authenticity of the signature of any officer, employee or agent of Canada or the applicable Registrar on any Note or Global Note.
