Common use of Authority commitments Clause in Contracts

Authority commitments. Unless otherwise set out in the Commercial Schedule, the Supplier acknowledges that: there is no obligation on the Authority or on any other Participating Authority to purchase any Goods or Services from the Supplier during the Term; no undertaking or any form of statement, promise, representation or obligation has been made by the Authority and/or any other Participating Authority in respect of the total quantities or volumes or value of the Goods or Services to be ordered by them pursuant to this Framework Agreement and the Supplier acknowledges and agrees that it has not entered into this Framework Agreement on the basis of any such undertaking, statement, promise or representation; in entering this Framework Agreement, no form of exclusivity has been granted by the Authority and/or other Participating Authority; and the Authority and/or other Participating Authorities are at all times entitled to enter into other contracts and agreements with other suppliers for the provision of any or all goods or services which are the same as or similar to the Goods or Services.
