Common use of Authority of Arbitrator to Rule Clause in Contracts

Authority of Arbitrator to Rule. The parties hereby agree and consent that the arbitrator shall be fully authorized and empowered to (i) permit and rule on motions of summary judgment made by either of the parties and (ii) award injunctive relief. The ruling of the arbitrator, including on any motion of summary judgment or concerning any award of injunctive relief, shall be final and binding on the parties, and may be confirmed in any court of competent jurisdiction.
