Common use of Authority of the Faculty Clause in Contracts

Authority of the Faculty. The discipline of a student is the responsibility of the parents/guardians, but when in school such responsibility turns to the instructors and administration under the “law of loco parentis.” All instructors are responsible for correcting student behavior at any time or place in the building or on school grounds. Student conduct at all times should be such that correction is unnecessary.
