AUTHORITY'S RIGHT TO ASSIGN. The parties recognize the AIRPORT AUTHORITY's right to assign and direct its employees. However, the AIRPORT AUTHORITY will endeavor to keep employees working within their respective positions. Human Resources will notify the UNION, in writing, within three (3) working days of the end of the pay period, of any initial or extended temporary assignments of employees to higher positions inside or outside the bargaining unit. Employees assigned outside the bargaining unit to temporary supervisory assignments may not issue discipline.
