Common use of Authority’s Rights of Enforcement Clause in Contracts

Authority’s Rights of Enforcement. In the event any policy of insurance required under this Contract does not comply with these requirements, or is canceled and not replaced, Authority has the right, but not the duty, to obtain the insurance it deems necessary, and any premium paid by Authority will be promptly reimbursed by Contractor, or Authority will withhold amounts sufficient to pay premium from Contractor payments. In the alternative, Authority may cancel this Contract.
