Authorization Requirements for Related Services. The Contractor shall require providers to follow the timelines described in this section for MHP payment authorization of mental health services as defined in Title 9, CCR, Section 1810.227, excluding services to treat emergency and urgent conditions as defined in Title 9, CCR, Sections 1810.216 and 1810.253 and excluding therapeutic behavioral services as described in DMH Letter No.99-03, when these services are provided on the same day as day treatment intensive or day rehabilitation. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
