Authorization to Lease Clause Samples
The 'Authorization to Lease' clause grants a party, typically a property manager or agent, the legal authority to lease out a property on behalf of the owner. This clause outlines the scope of the agent's powers, such as marketing the property, screening tenants, and executing lease agreements. By clearly defining who is authorized to act and what actions they may take, this clause ensures that all leasing activities are conducted with the owner's consent, thereby preventing unauthorized transactions and establishing accountability.
