Common use of Authorized Official Clause in Contracts

Authorized Official. The authorized official, for the purpose of reviewing an appraisal, is an employee who can independently fulfill the requirements of this part and who is not supervised or formally evaluated by any person authorized to process, negotiate, or approve any easement. The authorized official may not be any person who is authorized to process, negotiate, or approve any easement.
