Author’s Copies Sample Clauses
The Author’s Copies clause grants the author the right to receive a specified number of complimentary copies of the published work from the publisher. Typically, this provision outlines how many copies the author will receive, whether they are hardcover or paperback, and may address the process for requesting additional copies at a discounted rate. Its core function is to ensure the author has access to their own work for personal use, promotion, or distribution, addressing the practical need for authors to possess and share their published material.
