AUTOMATIC ANNUITY OPTION. If the Annuitant does not elect one of the Options prior to the Annuity Date, annuity payments will be made in accordance with the Second Option, with payments being guaranteed for a ten year period, unless this Option is contrary to applicable tax laws or regulations.
