Common use of Award of Subcontractors Clause in Contracts

Award of Subcontractors. Any Subcontractor that the Trade Contractor proposes to use to perform a part of the Trade Contractor Work shall be subject to the approval of the Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld. Before this Trade Contract Agreement is executed, the Trade Contractor shall furnish the Authority, in writing, with (a) the name, trade and subcontract amount of all Persons and entities proposed as Subcontractors, and (b) the names of all Persons or entities proposed as Suppliers of the material or equipment identified in the Specifications (including those who are to furnish materials or equipment fabricated to a special design) and, where applicable, the name of the installing Subcontractor. The Authority will promptly reply to the Trade Contractor in writing stating whether or not the Authority, after due investigation, has reasonable objection to any such proposed person or entity.
