Common use of Award to Be Final Clause in Contracts

Award to Be Final. The arbitrator shall have no authority to modify or ignore this Agreement, or to extend its term, or to make an award which has that effect unless the parties have expressly agreed in writing to give the arbitrator such authority. The award of the arbitrator so made shall be final and binding on the parties.
