Bargaining Unit Members on Special Assignment (TSA. 1. SRVEA and District representatives will meet annually to discuss anticipated TSA positions for the following year. When TSA positions become available, they will be posted and open to all bargaining unit members. The selection panel for these positions will include SRVEA and District members. When a bargaining unit member accepts a position as a TSA, his/her former position will be posted. For up to two years the TSA will have the right to return to his/her home school. After two years the TSA will be guaranteed a position for which he/she is qualified in the District. New TSAs will be evaluated during the first year of their assignment.
2. A bargaining unit member released for a period or more at the site with site controlled funds will not be considered a bargaining unit member on Special Assignment. These positions do not require district posting; however, all certificated bargaining unit members at the site must have the opportunity to apply according to a site-developed application process.
