Common use of Base Term Rent Clause in Contracts

Base Term Rent. The Rent During Base Term, as defined in Section 2.01(c) of the Lease, subject to escalation of the rent described in Section 2.01(d) shall apply to the Additional Space. Lessee’s obligation to pay Base Term Rent for the Additional Space shall commence on January 1, 2014, and shall continue until the end of the Base Term of the Lease.

Base Term Rent. The Rent During Base Term, as defined in Section 2.01(c) of the Lease, subject to escalation of the rent described in Section 2.01(d) shall apply to the Additional Space. Lessee’s obligation to pay Base Term Rent for the Additional Space shall commence on January the earlier to occur of (i) the date Lessor begins transacting business in the Additional Space after having substantially completed its build out of the Additional Space, or (ii) September 1, 20142012, and shall continue until the end of the Base Term of the Lease.
