Basic Services – General. (a) The Design Consultant shall, under the general direction of and at the written request of the Executive Director, xxxxxxx experienced architectural personnel to support DPR’s existing personnel. Subject to an express, agreed upon limitation of such duties set forth in any approved Task Order proposal for the particular project assigned to the Design Consultant under this Agreement, the Design Consultant agrees to perform all of the services and duties set forth in this Agreement in regard to each project to which it is assigned and its proposal is approved. (b) When directed by the Executive Director to perform under this Agreement on a particular Task Order, the Design Consultant shall prepare a project-specific proposal in accordance with the provided scope or description of Work for that project. A separate project-specific proposal shall be prepared for each Task Order for which the Design Consultant’s services are required and shall set forth, at a minimum, all of the following: (1) The maximum fee for the Design Consultant’s basic services. (2) The supplemental services budget, limited to ten percent (10%) of the basic services fee for the Project. (3) The budget for reimbursable expenses, if applicable. (4) A description of the project and proposed scope of work (the “Work”). (5) An agreed upon schedule for the Design Consultant’s performance of all phases of their work. (6) A lump sum maximum price for all of the Design Consultant’s Work. (7) An Itemized Hourly Estimate per the key professional personnel and Rate Schedule in Exhibit B, unless waived by the Executive Director. (c) Upon approval by the Executive Director of a Task Order proposal, the approval and appropriation of funding for such Task Order, and the issuance of a written Notice to Proceed, the Design Consultant shall proceed to perform required Work. (d) The assigned Work shall be performed in conformance with the approved Task Order-specific proposal upon approval of the proposal. (e) The Design Consultant's basic services for each Task Order to which it is assigned may consist of any one or combination of the phases described below and shall include, but are not limited to the architectural, design, civil, structural, mechanical and electrical services appropriate to each phase of each project and the services described in Exhibit A. (f) The Design Consultant shall obtain written authorization from the Project Manager before proceeding with each phase of each assigned Task Orde...
Basic Services – General. (a) The Consultant shall, under the general direction of and at the written request of the Director, furnish experienced engineering and design personnel to support the Department’s existing personnel. Subject to an express, agreed upon limitation of such duties set forth in any approved task proposal for the particular task assigned to the Consultant under this Agreement, the Consultant agrees to perform all of the services and duties set forth in this Agreement in regard to each task to which it is assigned and its proposal is approved. (b) When directed by the Director to perform a task, the Consultant shall prepare a task specific proposal in accordance with the scope or description of Work for that task. The Project Manager will notify Consultant in writing if a Task Order will be billed and paid on a percent complete basis. If Task Order specific approval of percent complete billing is not given billing and payment will default to actual hours worked, approved reimbursable expenses and additional services. Percent complete billing does not change the requirements for Consultant’s task specific proposal listed below. A separate task specific proposal shall be prepared for each task for which the Consultant’s services are required and shall set forth, at a minimum all of the following: (1) A not to exceed maximum fee for the Consultant’s proposed services. (2) Itemized fee breakdown. No markup will be allowed on basic services or reimbursables. (3) The additional services budget, if any, for the task. (4) Any reimbursable expenses approved pursuant to paragraph 3.02. (5) A detailed description of the task and scope of work (the “Work”). (6) A list of deliverables for the task. (7) An agreed upon schedule for deliverables and completion of the Work. (c) Upon approval by the Director of a task proposal, the approval and appropriation of funding for such task, and the issuance of a written Notice to Proceed, the Consultant shall proceed to perform the Work. (d) The assigned task shall be performed in conformance with the approved task specific proposal. The terms of this Agreement cannot be altered by task order. (e) The Consultant's basic services for each task may consist of any one or combination of the anticipated services described below, in Exhibit A or services related to the services described in this Agreement. (f) The Consultant shall not proceed with any Task until a Notice to Proceed is execute by the City and issued to the Consultant. (g) Not...

Basic Services – General. (a) These services shall be diligently performed by the regular professional and technical staff of the Design Consultant. In the event the Design Consultant does not have as part of its regular staff certain professional consultants, then such consulting services shall be performed, with City approval, by practicing professional consultants outside of the employ of the Design Consultant. (b) Prior to designating an outside professional to perform work or services under this Agreement, the Design Consultant shall submit the name of such professional, together with a resume of training and experience in work of like character and magnitude as the work being contemplated, to the City and receive prior approval in writing. (c) All professional consultants and subconsultants must be retained for the life of the Project to the extent practicable, except that acceptable replacements may be substituted with prior written approval from the City as set out in Section 2.05. (d) The Design Consultant's basic services for the Project shall consist of the phases described below and shall include, but not be limited to, environmental, structural, civil and electrical engineering services appropriate to each element of the Project for each phase. (e) The Design Consultant shall obtain written authorization from the City before proceeding with each phase. (f) Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as placing any obligation on the City to proceed with any phase beyond the latest phase authorized in writing by City. (g) The responsibilities and obligations of the Design Consultant under this Agreement shall not be relieved or affected in any respect by the presence on the site of any agent, consultant, subconsultant, or employee of the City.

  • Basic Services The Architect/Engineer’s Basic Services include all disciplines identified in Article 15 and all related usual and customary design, consultant, and other services necessary and reasonably inferable to complete the Project, or any phase of the Project, in accordance with the Owner’s requirements and the terms of this Agreement.

  • Non-Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the high-side of the generator substation at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established a different power factor range that applies to all similarly situated non-synchronous generators in the control area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice. This power factor range standard shall be dynamic and can be met using, for example, power electronics designed to supply this level of reactive capability (taking into account any limitations due to voltage level, real power output, etc.) or fixed and switched capacitors, or a combination of the two. This requirement shall only apply to newly interconnecting non-synchronous generators that have not yet executed a Facilities Study Agreement as of September 21, 2016.

  • Synchronous Generation The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range of 0.95 leading to 0.95 lagging, unless the NYISO or the Transmission Owner in whose Transmission District the Small Generating Facility interconnects has established different requirements that apply to all similarly situated generators in the New York Control Area or Transmission District (as applicable) on a comparable basis, in accordance with Good Utility Practice.
