Common use of Benchmark Event Clause in Contracts

Benchmark Event. (1) Notes not linked to SOFR Notwithstanding the provisions of Condition 4(b) above but subject, in the case of Notes linked to XXXXX, to Condition 4(b)(ii)(B)(4)a. above taking precedence, if a Benchmark Event occurs at any time in relation to an Original Reference Rate, then the following provisions shall apply (other than to Notes linked to SOFR):
