Common use of BILINGUAL ALLOWANCE Clause in Contracts

BILINGUAL ALLOWANCE. Employees who perform technical bilingual skills (reading, writing and oral translation) for the benefit of the City on a regular and ongoing basis and who successfully pass City-administered proficiency test shall receive an allowance based on the level(s) of bilingual competency listed below.

Employees who perform technical bilingual skills (reading, writing and oral translation) for the benefit of the City on a regular and ongoing basis and who successfully pass City-City- administered proficiency test shall receive an allowance based on the level(s) of bilingual competency listed below. Employees who perform technical bilingual skills (reading, writing, translation) and who successfully pass a City-administered proficiency test shall receive an allowance of one hundred seventy-five dollars ($175.00) per month.
