Common use of Binding on Heirs and Successors Clause in Contracts

Binding on Heirs and Successors. This Lease is binding on the heirs, executors, administrators, and successors of the Property Owner and the Landlord, and where permitted, your assigns. Unless you are entitled to terminate this Lease under a clause in this Lease, you won’t be released from this Agreement for any reason, including, but not limited to, voluntary or involuntary school withdrawal or transfer, voluntary or involuntary job transfer, marriage, separation, divorce, reconciliation, loss of co-residents, loss of employment, bad health, or death. Additionally, under the terms of this Lease, the other Residents are jointly and individually responsible for all obligations contained in this Lease. Nothing in this paragraph shall be construed as consent by the Landlord to any assignment of this Lease by any of the Residents.
