Common use of BIOLOGICAL AND HABITAT PROTECTION Clause in Contracts

BIOLOGICAL AND HABITAT PROTECTION. County will inform the Contractor of any biological resources that would or could be impacted by the project, and specify any required mitigation measures or procedures to protect those resources during construction. The Contractor shall be responsible for complying with these protection measures, and for ensuring that all Subcontractors also comply. The County has the authority to perform inspections of the Contractor’s work area at any time to ensure that these measures or procedures are being followed.
