Blended Sections. 1. The ATC System shall have a functional and operational interface with railroad systems on blended sections to allow uninterrupted transition of Train Operations and Control responsibility between adjacent train control systems. 2. On blended sections, the control systems shall transition to a ready and operational state without affecting the Contract Requirements. 3. When transitioning between railroad properties, Rolling Stock shall always be under the control of a train control system following make-before-break methodology.
